We are a small boutique company, that has operated for over twelve years and we use locally trained guides with a wealth of knowledge of history of the Abel Tasman, the local flora and fauna, and the Maori history of the area. We specialise in offering a personalised service and can offer trips for as few as 2 people. Walks can be tailored to suit your needs by offering options so you can customise your Abel Tasman experience.

Walks vary from a single day through to five days. All walks begin with your complimentary pick up from Nelson and we walk from Marahau to Anchorage where we stay on the Aquapacker boat, enjoying a swim in the crystal clear waters followed by a barbeque and a few drinks in the stunning sunset. For the following night (or nights) we stay in the well-maintained DOC huts.

This is the ideal way to have the best of both worlds. You don≠t need to carry or cook your food as gourmet meals are provided throughout the trip and we cater for all forms of dietary requirements.

You may choose to be more adventurous and take the inland track or even include a day≠s kayaking. Or if you prefer a little more luxury we can offer a more laid back approach by staying in holiday houses.

The 3-day trip includes afternoon tea at The Awaroa Lodge and ends with the exhilarating water taxi trip back to Marahau. The 5-day trip finishes in Wainui and we return to Nelson via the quirky township of Takaka with a complimentary trip to Waikoropupu Springs as the final touch.

We also guide the Heaphy Track in the Kahurangi National Park.
