Aquapackers
W E L C O M E A B O A R D
Aquapackers is backpacker accommodation aboard a
specially converted boat and is the original and only floating accommodation in the Abel Tasman National Park in Nelson, New Zealand. Our boat is a 13 metre catamaran called Catarac.
The Cat-A-Rac has recently been refurbished to comfortably accommodate backpackers in clean and modern facilities, including hot showers, flush toilets, confortable beds and bar facilities.
We are located in Anchorage Bay which is in the heart of the Abel Tasman National Park. Aquapackers is ideally situated to explore and discover both the north and the south ends of the park. Anchorage Bay is also the most sheltered bay along the entire Abel Tasman National Park coastline.
The accommodation aboard our boat is made of 3 private double cabins and 2 dorm rooms with a total capacity of 22 passengers.
Included in the price of a dorm room or a private cabin is:
*dinner (BBQ or a home cooked meal) *bedding *fantastic scenery and surroundings *continental breakfast *complimentary tea and coffee *reasonably priced bar facility
